Bastion of the Pen: The Human Revolution begins serialisation. Half-a-year later, the Seikyo Shimbun becomes a daily paper, strengthening the lion’s roar of the righteousness of mentor and disciple.

Winds of Happiness: Shin’ichi travels to Los Angeles in the US – despite the unrest caused by racial tensions continuing on his journey of encouragement to achieve true equality. He also visits Mexico, which his mentor visited in a dream.

A New Course: The contribution campaign to build the Sho-Hondo begins. In Europe, Shin’ichi strives with all his might to foster capable Japanese youths who have travelled to Germany to work as miners, devoting himself to their growth.

Crown Champions: The Soka University Establishment Steering Committee is formed, and the long-awaited men’s division is also established. Shin’ichi resolves to do whatever it takes, no matter what travails life brings, to encourage even more fellow members and friends.
