The New Human Revolution is a novelised history of the Soka Gakkai. The protagonist is Shin’ichi Yamamoto, third president of the Soka Gakkai (whose character represents SGI President Daisaku Ikeda)

Upon becoming Soka Gakkai president, Shin’ichi Yamamoto travels tirelessly around Japan around Japan and strives with all his might to encourage fellow members and foster capable people.

Chapters

Vanguard:
Since assuming the presidency, Shin’ichi has been travelling all over Japan. He prays for Okinawa, then under US rule, to be transformed from a land of tragedy into a land of happiness.

Training:
During the summer, Shin’ichi exerts utmost effort in fostering a core of capable people. Through the Suiko-kai, the Kayo-kai’s outdoor training course and the summer training courses, he aims to lay down a solid foundation for the youth.

Courageous Endeavour:
Upon returning from overseas, Shin’ichi immediately throws himself into the inaugural meetings of new chapters. His unceasing efforts in encouraging people set off great ripples of wonderful endeavours.

Banner of the People:
Under the leadership of President Yamamoto, the Soka Gakkai is surging forward like a great wave, and achieves great victory after battling numerous challenges to adorn the year. This chapter also discusses how Shin’ichi and his wife Mineko raise their children.
