SGM Negeri Sembilan was invited to perform at a state-level Chinese New Year open house organised by the National Department For Culture And Arts Negeri Sembilan on 17 February at Lotus’s mall, Bahau.

SGM youth division members showcased a traditional Chinese dance. They also collaborated with other dance groups to present two multicultural dances which served as the opening and closing performances. The attendees were also entertained by a variety of other performances including lion dance, 24 seasons drums and Sichuan face-changing opera, immersing in the richness of Chinese cultures.

Yang Dipertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir and his wife Tuanku Ampuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Aishah Rohani Tengku Besar Mahmud were among some 3,000 attendees at the event.
