The “Artistic Coexistence and Prosperity – The 1st IACA Exhibition” attracted over 4,500 people, including Philippines Ambassador H.E Maria Angela Ponce, since its opening on 16 March. Its closing ceremony on 14 April was held at Wisma Kebudayaan SGM, attended by members from International Association of Creative Arts (IACA) and gallery go-ers.
In his closing remark, SGM General Director Koh Sia Feai expressed his gratitude to IACA members for contributing their knowledge and creative insights, bringing about the meaningful art exchange which has opened new realms of creativity for the community.
IACA president Shirley Chu thanked SGM for realising IACA’s dream of organising an international exhibition. Meanwhile, IACA honorary adviser Dr Hazlin Anita Zainal Abidin urged everyone to continue promoting art with even greater dedication.

To complement the exhibition, a series of activities were conducted during the exhibition period. Among the activities were art conference, curator’s tour and oil painting workshop instructed by Deng Hua, a national first-class artist from China.
A total of RM7,080, raised from the workshops and donation, was donated to the welfare organisation Rumah Charis, received by its founder Reverend Teo.
