In the spirit of cultural exchange and festive celebration, SGM actively participated in various Chinese New Year events across different states.
On 6 February, SGM Pahang took part in a celebration at the Air Putih field in Kuantan, organised by the service centre of Semambu assemblyperson YB Chan Chun Kuang. A total of 70 SGM members from the choir group, dance group, fife-and-drum corps and junior division delivered vibrant performances, spreading festive cheer.
On 7 February, the SGM Negeri Sembilan dance group, in collaboration with the National Department for Culture and Arts (JKKN) Negeri Sembilan and other performers, showcased traditional dances during the opening and closing ceremonies of an event organised by the state government in Lukut, Port Dickson. The SGM dance group also captivated the audience with a fan dance. The event drew some 5,000 attendees, including the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, royal family members and the Chief Minister.

On the same day, SGM Selangor was invited to perform at the Chinese New Year celebration hosted by the Klang Royal City Council at Dewan Hamzah, Klang. On 9 February, SGM Kuala Lumpur attended a Chinese New Year gathering at the Setiawangsa Mosque organised by Hidayah Foundation. Participants engaged in a lively exchange on their respective religious teachings and philosophies, fostering mutual understanding.
