On 8 February, over 200 participants attended an explanatory meeting at the SGM Culture Centre, organised by Soka University of America (SUA) to introduce its academic programmes. 

“The mission of SUA is to foster a steady stream of global citizens dedicated to living a contributive life.”

SUA director of alumni relations Margaret Kasahara introduced the university’s founding principles, undergraduate programmes, and campus life. An alumna then spoke about how her potential was nurtured and developed at SUA.

Following the session, many secondary school students and parents expressed keen interest, actively inquiring about admission details. Participants also shared their impressions such as: “I love the natural surroundings around the campus,” “It’s great that we can gain life experience beyond academics,” and “I want to explore and learn different languages.”
