SGM Selangor took part in the Klang Cultural Arts and Tourism Heritage Fiesta on 5 and 6 October at Laman Seni Safari, Klang, where they showcased performances and exhibits highlighting Chinese traditional culture.
The fiesta was organised by the Klang Royal City Council (MBDK), with support from the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (Selangor) and the National Department for Culture and Arts (Selangor), among other organisations.
Later from 9–12 October, SGM set up a booth at the Klang Sustainable Convention, organised by MBDK at the MBDK Hall in Bandar Bukit Raja. The booth highlighted information about the biannual Run for Peace and featured the “Seeds of Hope and Action” exhibition to promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The convention brought together stakeholders, developers and community associations from Klang to discuss best practices for implementing Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives in order to create a livable city.
