Sentosa assemblyperson YB Gunarajah George, who attended the ceremony, noted that the photographs offer an opportunity to reflect on one’s attitude towards life and gain new insights. Meanwhile, David Tay shared that the greatest joy for him was forging friendships with people from around the world through photography.

After the opening, a sharing session took place where David Tay discussed his choice of black and white photography and his creative approach. He explained that he focuses on capturing people’s eyes, as he believes that emotions are best conveyed through them. His aim is for viewers to appreciate the beauty of life through his works, inspiring them to live more meaningful and fulfilling lives.
