SGM Perak participated in the closing ceremony of Citrawarna (Colours of Malaysia) celebration held at Dataran Ipoh on June 19, 2004. A total of 32 youth from SGM Perak form part of a group performance featuring a combined Chinese and lion dance. The Sultan of Perak Sultan Azlan Shah officiated the closing ceremony witnessed by more than 10,000 people.
