On 25 January, the Ipoh Calligraphy Society organised a calligraphy competition in collaboration with SGM Perak and the alumni association of SMJK Sam Tet in Ipoh to celebrate the Year of The Dragon.
SGM Perak chairperson Lai Soo Ha delivered a speech at the competition held at the Perak Culture Centre, which attracted 200 participants from eight states.
The event also included lectures on Spring Festival and calligraphy.
