At the invitation of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture (MoTAC), SGM participated in the Putrajaya Cultural Festival held from 20–22 September at Dataran Putrajaya with the theme, “Unity through Arts and Culture.”
Diverse communities were invited to showcase the nation’s rich cultural heritage. SGM introduced Chinese culture through exhibits featuring traditional costumes, lion dance, Chinese drum, Chinese chess, calligraphy and paper folding.
Visitors from all ethnic backgrounds visited SGM’s booth, expressing great interest in exploring Chinese culture, particularly in playing Chinese chess and learning about the intricacies of the lion dance. The atmosphere buzzed with energy and curiosity as visitors engaged in lively and friendly interactions with SGM members.
The festival celebrated Malaysia’s diverse arts, culture, and heritage, aiming to foster understanding among different ethnic communities while boosting tourism and economic growth.
