On 25 March, which marked the third day of Ramadhan, SGM representatives from Selangor and KL attended an interfaith activity organised by Hidayah Centre Foundation.
The event included a guided tour of the Putra Mosque in Putrajaya, during which the guide provided an enlightening explanation of the mosque’s architectural science. In addition, the SGM delegation joined in a communal breaking of the fast with Muslims.
These activities provided an opportunity for the attendees to gain an interfaith experience, learn about entering a mosque, understand the philosophy of Islam, and appreciate the practice of fasting. Such experiences foster understanding and strengthen harmonious relationships between different communities and religions.
The members of the Hidayah Centre Foundation also expressed their desire to participate in the upcoming Run For Peace event, which aims to make the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) a reality.
