On 2 December 2023, SGM Negeri Sembilan was invited to participate in a traditional music concert titled “Showcase Neo-Tradisisme: Irama Tradisional Negeri Sembilan dan Melaka.” Held at Encore Melaka, the concert features traditional performances of various ethnic groups with an aim to promote understanding and unity through culture.
Twenty-eight members of the SGM Miao Yin Chinese Orchestra performed a Malay folk song named “Chan Mali Chan,” an Indian classic known as “Mukkala Mukkabala” and a Chinese song titled “General’s Command.” Their captivating performances stirred the audience’s emotions, eliciting a round of heartfelt applause.
