On September 29, 2018, SGM Negeri Sembilan held a 2019 Peace Proposal forum at its culture centre. The event was initiated by the SGM Negeri Sembilan Student Division (SD) and has been held yearly since 2012.

Four speakers centred on various global issues which included refugee rights, nuclear disarmament and human rights of the elderly. Their ardent presentation further drove home the importance of these issues.

During the talk, SD members played instruments while members from the Culture Group performed a modern dance, fan dance and gymnastics routine.

At the end, some 200 people in the audience sang a song to show their conviction in achieving peace through their voices and efforts.
