Due to heavy rains on 17 December 2021, many areas in Negeri Sembilan had been affected by floods. After holding an emergency meeting, SGM Negeri Sembilan donated RM1,000 to Negeri Sembilan State Education Department (NSSED) to help flood victims.

The handing over ceremony was held on 3 January 2022 at the NSSED centre. SGM president Michael Kok presented the donation to the Head of NSSED, Tuan Mohd Fiah bin Mohd Jamin, witnessed by SGM Negeri Sembilan chairman Dato’ Chong Khin Sang and other officials.

In addition, SGM Negeri Sembilan assisted members affected by floods by making phone calls and visiting their homes. In the Titi area, eight households were affected and 15 youths and five men’s and women’s divisions members helped clean the most severely affected household on 1 January 2022.
