As an effort to expand and unite the Youth Division (YD), SGM Melaka has organised YD meetings on a monthly basis since October 2017. With experience sharing and small group discussions as the main items, these meetings aim to promote interactions and encouragement among YD members. In the meeting on December 18, 2017, 140 youth attended, the highest ever, including 20 new friends.

In this meeting, Desmond Lim shared his experience of striving to obtain his bachelor’s degree through actualising his human revolution. In small group exchange session themed “The Mentor in My Life,” seniors in the YD shared their journey in faith, and how they built their bond with SGI President Ikeda. Their sharing motivated the younger members to deeply appreciate President Ikeda’s vision and thoughts. After the meeting, YD members interacted actively with the new friends to deepen their understanding of the Gakkai as well as our mentor.
