On 20 August 2022, SGM attended an interfaith exchange with Muslim groups at Mardhiyyah Hotel and Suites, Shah Alam. Held under the theme “Sharing Ideas and Strength of Community,” the event was organised by the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS) and coordinated by the Hidayah Centre Foundation. SGM was represented by SGM deputy president Johnny Ng Teck Sim who had a goodwill exchange with various Muslim NGO leaders, expanding the network of friendship and promoting harmony and tolerance in a multi-cultural society through mutual understanding.
