To commemorate the 22nd anniversary of SGM Golden Age group’s establishment on 2 June, commemorative meetings were held nationwide throughout the month. General Director Koh Sia Feai penned a congratulatory message, encouraging the participants to cherish each day, engage in dialogues and immerse in the joy of expanding kosen-rufu.
On 1 June, SGM Pahang held a celebration at its cultural centre, which was broadcast online.
On 2 June, SGM Penang and Perak celebrated the event at their respective culture centres. Participants refreshed their perspectives on the significance of the group and were encouraged by members’ victory reports. SGM Penang leader Ewe Chor Huat emphasised the importance of fostering successors. Meanwhile, SGM Vice-General Director Chang Meng Keng, who attended the session in Perak, reminded them to always adhere to the five eternal guidelines for the Soka Gakkai.

On 9 June, SGM Sarawak held the commemorative meeting at its culture centre. The participants watched a guidance video by President Ikeda, highlighting the importance of making good causes each day to create a magnificent life state. They later also sang “The Helmsmen of Kofu” in high spirits.
On 16 June, SGM Greater Kuala Lumpur held theirs at the SGM Culture Centre. In conjunction with the 60th anniversary of Malaysian kosen-rufu and the 40th anniversary of SGM’s establishment this year, pioneering senior Liu Cheng Choong reminisced about SGM’s development, highlighting the unwavering dedication of senior members in expanding kosen-rufu.
