In view of the continuing seriousness of the Covid-19 pandemic situation in Sabah, Persatuan Soka Gakkai Malaysia (SGM) made a donation of RM20,000 to the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) at the SGM Sabah Culture Centre on 21 November 2020.

SGM’s donation towards MRCS’s Food Basket Program will enable 400 food baskets to be distributed to benefit the poor and needy who are most impacted by the pandemic and the MCO.

The donation was handed over to Datuk Asnan Yunus Chung, Chairman of Red Crescent Sabah from Mr. Lam Choi Sing, SGM Sabah Zone Chief.

In appreciation and support of the efforts by the Malaysian Red Crescent Society, Soka Gakkai Malaysia hopes the contribution will help to relieve the stress and burden of those affected.
