Donating blood is an act that brings various benefits. Not only does it help rid the body of excess iron, regulate blood pressure and burn calories, it is also a compassionate act that helps people in need.
In April, SGM Johor and SGM Pahang worked with local hospitals in their areas to organise blood donation drives.

Working with the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital, SGM Pahang held a blood donation drive at the SGM Pahang Culture Centre on April 19 and collected close to 150 packets of blood from members of the public.
On April 26, SGM Johor held blood donation drives at its centres in Kluang and Batu Pahat. For several years now, SGM Johor has worked closely with local hospitals in these areas in organising blood donations. These two events raised close to 160 packets for the Kluang Hospital and close to 60 packets for the Hospital Sultanah Nora Ismail in Batu Pahat.
