After having successfully carried out its role as a Mega Vaccination Centre twice in 2021, SGM Selangor has been selected and invited again by the Ministry of Health to be one of the four Mega Vaccination Centres (PPV) in the Klang Valley. This will accelerate the administration of the vaccine booster shots in the community.
The Mega PPV at SGM Selangor Culture Centre will operate from January 15 to March 15, and is estimated to administer 2,000 booster doses daily.
Since 27 January, 2022, walk-ins for adults aged 18 and above are eligible for AZ, Pfizer or Sinovac at PPV SGM Selangor Branch as per daily stock availability.
Meanwhile, vaccinations for children aged 5 to below 12 are also available from 7 February, 2022. From 2 March, 2022 onwards, parents/guardians can walk-in for their children/dependants vaccination at SGM Selangor Culture Centre.
The vaccine booster programme and operation of the vaccination centre will be managed by The National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK). All booster dose appointments will be issued through the MySejahtera app or SMS. Please refer to the latest announcement by the relevant authorities.
