Representatives from the four divisions shared on the “Peace Proposal”, a new endeavour for the Men and Women Divisions. One of the topics discussed was “We all are humans.” This topic highlighted the importance of appreciating others, especially the refugees and people of other ethnicities, and eliminating discrimination and division. The Junior Division and High School Division (HSD) presented two songs celebrating peace on earth. There was also an exhibition “Everything You Treasure – For a World Free from Nuclear Weapons” in both Chinese and English. Thirteen members from the HSD and Student Division (SD) narrated at the exhibition.
In Melaka, Youth Division members organised a sharing on December 15. Five members from the SD took up the responsibility to deliver a talk. They sang World Peace Begins, adding to the lively and youthful meeting with 140 participants.
SGM Negeri Sembilan held their seventh Peace Proposal sharing on December 16 with 111 people in attendance. The event began with a piano performance by SD Liang Wei Jun, followed by a talk by the SD.
