In June, a training course for SGM men’s division members was held at the SGM Culture Centres in several states. Based on the theme “Shared Struggle of Mentor and Disciple” derived from President Ikeda’s Gosho lecture titled A Religion of Human Revolution, the training course discussed ways to follow the path of a disciple, as well as to embrace the spirit of fighting together and enduring hardships.
On 9 June, SGM study department leader Chia Kok Peng gave a lecture on the Gosho at the SGM Selangor Culture Centre. Experiences on challenging career and health issues were also shared at the event.
Also on 9 June, the session at the SGM Culture Centre featured small group discussions and experience sharing. Participants also sang “The Song of the Waterfall” written by President Ikeda.
SGM men’s division leader Dr Christopher Boey encouraged all members to realise their mission as Bodhisattvas of the Earth, bring forth their strong vitality and expand the dialogues of happiness. Meanwhile, SGM General Director Koh Sia Feai firmly reassured that as long as one prioritises kosen-rufu, one’s life will surely flourish and be victorious.
