The mayor of Isabela City, Philippines, Sitti Djalia Turabin Hataman, along with her entourage of 28, visited the SGM Selangor Culture Centre and the Ikeda Peace Park in Klang on 4 March.

They were greeted by SGM deputy president Johnny Ng, SGM Selangor chairperson Steven Chee and honorary secretary Yap Chin Fah, among others.

Johnny Ng gave a brief introduction of the Selangor Culture Centre, highlighting its role as a beacon of hope for the community. They later engaged in friendly exchanges as they toured the Ikeda Peace Park situated opposite the centre.

Additionally, they viewed the “Seeds of Hope and Action” (SoHA) and “Everything You Treasure – For a World Free From Nuclear Weapons” exhibitions, as well as videos on the opening of the park and the biannual Run for Peace event.
