On 26 August, Indian Council of Gandhian Studies (India) chairperson Dr Neelakanta Radhakrishnan visited Wisma Kebudayaan SGM (WKSGM) along with his wife. They were warmly welcomed by SGM General Director Koh Sia Feai and other SGM representatives.
During his visit, Dr Radhakrishnan toured the “Faizal Sidik: 25 Years – Works from 1999 to 2024” exhibition, commending the artist’s creative potential. He also visited the Mentor and Disciple Peace Hall, where he was deeply moved by the profound connections between the first three presidents of the Soka Gakkai.
A dialogue between President Ikeda and Dr Radhakrishnan was published under the title Walking With the Mahatma: Gandhi for Modern Times. In addition to authoring several books on President Ikeda, he has delivered two notable lectures in Malaysia: “The Triumph of the Mentor-Disciple Spirit” in 2006 and “Leadership Lessons from Gandhi, King and Ikeda” in 2008.
