The peace exhibition entitled “Everything You Treasure – For a World Free from Nuclear Weapons” (EYT) was initiated by SGI and the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize laureate the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN). Since 2015, the exhibition has been held in various culture centres throughout the country, culminating in a total of 40 times and viewed by about 30,000 people.
EYT offers a platform for people to have dialogue among themselves about what they treasure most and reflect on the importance of establishing a world without nuclear weapons.
SGM Selangor organised the EYT at SMK USJ 12 in Subang on April 17 and 18, in conjunction with the school’s “Loving Nature Week 2018.” The exhibition was narrated by students of the school who were trained by the Student Division members of SGM Selangor. One thousand students from 18 classes from both the morning and afternoon sessions viewed the exhibition, which conveyed to them the benefit of a world without nuclear weapons.
