On 15 December 2024, Dunhuang Academy research and exhibition centre deputy director and researcher Wang Huihui visited the Mentor and Disciple Peace Hall (MDPH) at Wisma Kebudayaan SGM. She was welcomed by SGM communications, culture and information division head Chia Kok Peng, along with other SGM representatives.

Wang Huihui shared that the visit significantly deepened her understanding of President Ikeda’s contributions, especially in expanding the influence of the Soka Gakkai in the post-World War II era. She expressed deep admiration for his unwavering faith and remarkable charisma, which continue to inspire countless young individuals to follow in his footsteps.

She also lauded President Ikeda’s philosophy of the dignity of life and harmonious coexistence, recognising these principles as key to fostering global peace.
