28 October 2023 marked the 34th anniversary of the establishment for SGM Amala Group, which comprises ethnic Indian SGM members. Seventy-five Amala Group members and new friends from Penang gathered at its culture centre on 10 December 2023 to commemorate this milestone. Meanwhile, SGM Kuala Lumpur held their celebration on 17 December 2023, with an attendance of 90 individuals.
Amala Group advisor Tan Kean Aun, who attended the session in Penang, stressed the importance of advancing in the spirit of “many in body, one in mind.”

Both the sessions featured victory reports from Amala Group members, encouraging the participants to strengthen their faith and be courageous in facing life challenges.
In both venues, SGM General Director Koh Sia Feai sent his message, urging those present to continue actively taking part in all SGM activities in 2024, including the study sessions for the Lotus Sutra Exhibition as well as the shakubuku movement.
