Amala Group Celebrates 35th Anniversary

In December 2024, SGM Amala Group – comprising ethnic Indian members – from Greater Kuala Lumpur (GKL) and Penang commemorated its 35th anniversary. SGM General Director Koh Sia Feai sent a congratulatory message, expressing appreciation for the membersdedicated contributions to kosen-rufu.

GKL held theirs on 8 and 22 December at the SGM Culture Centre and SGM Selayang Centre, respectively. The meetings featured performances by future division members, Gosho study and victory reports on overcoming challenges such as diabetes, parenting struggles and suicidal thoughts. Notably, several guests, deeply moved by the profound greatness of the Mystic Law, decided to become SGM members.

Meanwhile, Penang held its commemorative meeting on 29 December at the Soka Peace Centre Malaysia. The event featured a vibrant performance, a study session on the transmission of Nichiren Buddhism, experience sharing and a tribute to President Ikeda.
