On 15 March, over 2,500 SGM youth members gathered across over 50 venues nationwide for the 16 March Kosen-rufu Day Youth General Meeting.

At the main venue – the SGM Culture Centre – SGM womens division leader May Chan emphasised the importance of strong prayer as the foundation of faith, encouraging members to advance with renewed determination towards Soka Gakkais centennial in 2030.

SGM youth division leader Andrew Looi read a message from Soka Gakkai president Minoru Harada. Young mens leader Chang Chung Bin and young womens leader Lee Kam Yit encouraged members to actively participate in SGM activities and strive towards the goal of 8,000-youth shakubuku.

Youth member Beh Fa Hua from Perak shared his experience of overcoming illness and his vow to advance kosen-rufu in Taiping.

Following the national segment broadcast from the main venue, the meeting continued with locally organised activities across various centres.

The SGM Negeri Sembilan Culture Centre featured a song titled We Carry On – One with Sensei,” while the SGM Pahang Culture Centre featured Youth with a Noble Vow” and the main venue featured Eternal Journey with Sensei.”

In Kedah and Sarawak, experiences were shared to inspire the youth to uphold unwavering faith, while in Penang, a youth forum on awakening to ones mission was held.

Participants in Sabah set personal goals for human revolution and wrote encouraging messages to friends, embodying the principle of practice for self and others.

The meeting empowered the participants to contribute to the realisation of a Youthful SGM.
