On August 8, 2019, a book donation ceremony was held at the Daisaku Ikeda Library in SMJK Chan Wa 2, where SGM Negeri Sembilan donated more than 60 books to the school’s library.

On hand to receive the books were the school’s chairman of the board Yap Kok Kiam and principal Soong Li Ying, while SGM was represented by General Director Koh Sia Feai and president Michael Kok. Other guests were also present at this ceremony.

In his welcoming speech, Mr Chan expressed his gratitude to SGM for its efforts in donating books to and supporting the school. He hoped that SGM will continue these carrying out activities that will benefit more students.

Meanwhile, Mr Koh said that reading is very important and urged the students to fully utilise the books to aid their learning, acquire more knowledge and contribute to society.
