The Chinese Assembly Hall Terengganu held its 34th National Chinese Cultural Festival at the renowned Chinatown of Kuala Terengganu from July 21 to 23, 2017, a three-day celebration packed with interesting Chinese culture festivity.

SGM Terengganu performed Chinese dances on the night of July 22. Seventeen youth dancers underwent intensive training over three months and gave an all-out effort during the performance to convey the significance of “From the indigo, an even deeper blue” through their dance. Although it was raining, the audiences faithfully watched all the performances.

The festival received good response; not only did it attract local residents of various ethnicities, it also gained the support of foreign tourists and substantial coverage in the media.
