Rakan TPNW (“Rakan” means friend in Malay; pronounced “Rar-Kahn”) is a social media initiative of Soka Gakkai Malaysia to promote the abolition of nuclear weapons, especially through the ratification and entry into force of the Treaty on the Prohibition on Nuclear Weapons (TPNW).
Nuclear weapons are one of the gravest threats to our world and the existence of all life. Though the TPNW has entered into force globally on January 22, 2021, Rakan TPNW continues its work in awakening and harnessing the power of common people to create a world free from the threat of nuclear annihilation.
